I started taking photos when the snow got fairly deep To climb Dog Mtn in the winter is a blast - but BE CAREFUL - slipping isnt fun! The branches are heavy with fresh snow Here is the junction to Dog Mtn - Remember, straight ahead goes to Augspurger Mtn The snow really gets deep now Some other soul had been up here the same day Of course it is not as deep beneath the trees Just keep away from the edge The wind up here causes some interesting displays Low branch ahead The switchbacks just before you come to the open area The deeper the snow the better the traction However, dont go near the edge - no traction there, just the bottom of the mountain A look back I only went around the corner - no further - too deep - too dangerous ---------------------------------The End of Another Excellent Adventure!-----------------------------------
